As the Obama administration continues its relentless push to subjugate the American public to the will of government, I cannot be silent and simply let it happen without any response. I have listened to endless rants by the leftist radical elected as POTUS as he behaves like a schoolyard bully deriding and sniping at anyone who dares disagree with him. One by one I have watched as politicians trot out after their “visit” with Pelosi and/or Obama and flip their vote in favor of this liberal takeover of our health care system. They stand in front of invalids probably kidnapped from the local care center as they attempt to justify their own cowardice. I have seen common sense cast aside in favor of political expedience and the will of the MAJORITY of Americans ignored. The backroom deals, threats and bribes are paying off for the administration as spineless politicians submit one by one to the pressure being applied by the enforcement arm of this administration.

Al Capone would be proud… Chicago rules are alive and well!!

Make no mistake… let ME be clear…I know of no one who does not believe corrections in the healthcare system are needed. However, if we allow the arrogant majority in power to proceed with this affront to freedom unchecked, our generation will witness the death of our freedom and the enslavement of our kids and grandkids to corrupt government policies and unbearable tax burdens.

With this single piece of legislation alone the radical left will have accomplished at least 4 major goals of their agenda:

1, Socialization of medicine – GOVERNMENT will make the decisions as to your qualification for medical care (God help you if Government decides you are too old or too sick and good luck finding a doctor who accepts Medicare) and when existing insurance companies are run out of business, single payer (state run) will be the only recourse and it WILL NOT be optional.

You will work to pay for those who will not and those who would thwart immigration laws to get these “entitlements”.

2, Taxpayers will now pay for abortions –For the first time in history whether your conscience allows it or not, your tax money will be used to pay for the killing of the innocent unborn. This is a major plank in the liberal platform.

3, Student loan program takeover – the US government will be the sole provider of student loans taking that prerogative away from your local bank. Sound familiar? What has this got to do with health care??     GOOD QUESTION!!

4. Capitalism and free markets will disappear – By crippling 1/6 of the US economy just in this single piece of legislation and coupling that with the government take over of the Auto and Banking industries and proposed “Cap and Trade” legislation, our system of free market capitalism cannot survive. Totalitarian rule will eventually become the “only answer”.

If you believe that Obama can rob ½ trillion dollars from the Medicare program and extend its life; if you believe the tax increases in this bill will not kill jobs;(of course it will create MORE government bureaucracy –government jobs) if you believe that spending TRILLIONS of dollars will REDUCE the deficit; if you don’t mind paying for 10 years to get 5 years of “benefits”; and if you think Washington has been a good steward of your money so far, then you will be pleased with what is transpiring in Washington DC. I believe you may also be in need of a change in your medication. I hope Obamacare will have what you need in its formulary!

We need to make it known to our representatives that our memories will not fade between now and November of this year. Unfortunately our Minnesota senators are not up for re-election this year and they are both rubber stamps for any liberal legislation no matter how dastardly. They should also know they work for us and “we the people” will not forget how they vote especially on this issue. The gauntlet has been laid down by big government. We all need to pray that we are up for the challenges coming our way.

Were I to listen to the "lame scream media" and be unable to think for myself I would be convinced that the greatest threat to America is NOT radical Islam, NOT the economy on life support, NOT even the swine flu. It's SARAH PALIN!!
For the past 15 months the leftist movement and it's mouthpiece (the media) have abandoned all concern for security from real imminent threats to our country in order to personally and politically destroy Sarah Palin. Those tactics range from slander to intimidation to outright LIES and personal attacks on her and her family.
Today I heard Nora O'donnel from PMSNBC grilling a 13 year old who was at a book signing for Sarah's new book about politics spawned by liberal talking points and trying for a gottcha on this young girl. (If I had been her father who was standing next to her I would certainly have given Ms O'donnel a "gottcha".)This young lady answered admirably.
These lowlife wannabe "journalists" will run like the cowards they are when confronting anyone who has actually been paying attention to the debacle orchestrated by this administration during its first year.
What Sarah Palin has faced and is confronting today are positively SHAMEFUL attacks by SHAMESLESS cowards who fear the American people will hear HER words without the distortion of their ideology. When that happens they know they are finished. Pray it happens before our country is no more.

If anyone needed any more proof that Chicago style politics runs this country, one need look no further than the vote taken Saturday night on socialized health care in the House of Representatives which passed this abomination by 2 votes as the clock struck midnite.

Pelosi and her henchmen twisted enough arms, bribed enough gutless representatives, and managed to ram thru 2000 pages of legislation (that almost no one read) that will further stifle the struggling economy, limit your care choices and devastate seniors on Medicare.

Despite unprecedented grass roots demonstrations around the country in town hall meetings and tea parties to stop this madness, these power-drunk narcissists have voted along strict party lines (with 1 republican vote) to press their thumb in the eye of their constituents basically telling us to sit down, shut up and pay the bill when we send it to you. This legislation will gut Medicare ripping 500 BILLION dollars from a program already on track for bankruptcy within a couple years.

It will spend 1.2 TRILLION dollars we don’t have over the next ten years. (If this projection is at all like most government guesses it will likely be twice that amount)

 It will definitely increase health care costs and taxes while decreasing access to timely treatment.

If you believe that only millionaires will see a tax increase I would like to talk with you about investing in a golf course up on the Arctic Circle.  

Obama, Pelosi, Reid and their radical droids have, in less than 1 year, taken our freedom, our dreams and our future and beaten them to a bloody pulp and they are not done yet. They now will set their sites on increasing the cost of energy (Cap and Tax “environmental” bill) and then making sure big labor gets its payoff with “card check” -. two more sucker punches to American industry.

The good news is we can and I hope will add the 220 zombies who voted for this travesty to the unemployment rolls next November.

Dear Mr. Obama,

With all due respect to the office you hold I must direct my thoughts to you. This is because those who represent me in the senate in Washington DC will not listen and pay no heed to my calls, letters and concerns and the House despises my congresswoman (Michelle Bachmann) who has the audacity to disagree with Pelosi’s regime.

Mr. Obama I am weary.

I am weary of a war that has lasted over 8 years. A war that was thrust upon us by barbarians who glory more in death than in life. A war that has left us with no good options just as it was planned by the perpetrators of the 9-11 attacks. A war that has torn our country apart and continues to pit Americans against Americans. A war that points out many of the flaws of our society BUT a war that must be won. A message must be sent that terrorism will NOT intimidate or defeat the free people of the United States of America!

I am weary of watching the flag of my country being disrespected and burned in the streets of Middle Eastern countries. Many who have been the recipients of aid from the most generous country in the history of the world are involved in these hate-filled demonstrations. These are people who have been radicalized by an ideology that will never negotiate (certainly not in good faith) and who respect only their enemy’s ability and willingness to marginalize or exterminate them.

I am weary of my leaders traveling to foreign countries and apologizing for America’s purported transgressions even in cities that have been saved and rebuilt by American blood and treasure. This will never result in a safer or more secure homeland. Rather it will embolden this cult of death and result in more loss of US prestige around the world.

I am weary of watching an unappreciative world storming our borders and being allowed to remain in our country and actually being given sanctuary and the rights of citizens in lieu of proceeding with legal means to become citizens. Many of those who are given citizenship refuse to learn our language and demand that we change our culture to accommodate theirs. For political reasons this is not only allowed but encouraged.

I am weary of constant attempts to impose “political correctness” in dealing with any racial, religious, or ethnic issues to the exclusion of common sense. America is, and always has been, a country founded and grounded in Christian tradition. In fact we ARE a Christian nation sir! Part of this tradition is tolerance NOT capitulation. While freedom of religion is a great part of our legacy, we should be mindful of the lesson in the recent tragedy at Fort Hood. Because of his “religion” those who witnessed the erratic behavior of a Muslim Army officer did not ask pertinent questions and report his suspicious behavior. He ultimately committed his unspeakable act of mayhem shooting 42 and killing 13 of our finest young people on a military base.

I am weary of waking up almost daily to find that our government has taken over another aspect of our life and/or our economy. Our congress is acting like an unruly daycare in need of adult supervision. I believe you were elected on the promise to “clean up” the mess in DC and bring this country together. Yet it seems politics has never been more divisive, petty or partisan and critical issues are not being addressed. Strong leadership is sorely needed.

In short Mr. Obama, I am weary of worrying about the country that has made me proud to be an American for over 60 years. I can only imagine how weary our troops must be as they struggle against an enemy unlike anything we have seen before and now must wonder about our resolve as a nation to complete this mission in victory as you ponder your next move. However, like our military “we the people” will not relent, will not go away quietly and will not let our representatives get by with business as usual. Please make it clear to all of us that America will not shrink from its duty to its citizens and the world.

I am told I should be addressing you as Mr. President. I will look forward to the day when I can.
